The staff is extremely nice, the restaurant was great with delicious food, breakfast was quite good, a lot of variety. The rooms are very comfortable, and the decoration is indeed amazing throughout the hotel.
The gym is quite decent for a hotel.

Breakfast was good but after 10 days was a bit monotonous. Delivered at 9 am each day which was good time for us. Lovely location. Nice house, nicely decorated, comfy beds. Two large pools , sun loungers were allocated to each rental house which was a great idea.Would definitely recommend this place.

Welcoming place. Great location, able to walk to the centre. Very peaceful overlooking vineyards. We were well looked after by the owner who provided all that we wanted. If in the area again, we would return here and happily recommend it to friends.

The hotel has an amazing location, really central and very quiet. The grounds were all kept really nice and clean. It is definitely a family hotel, lots of kids.
The breakfast exceeded my expectations, I wasn't expecting such a nice variety of items in such a small and family owned (?) hotel. The staff will go above and beyond to help and to accommodate any requests. Everyone was super nice and helpful.
Will definitely be back.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Hotel is very new and nicely decorated, rooms and all common areas are vey specious, breakfast very nice. I wish we had time to use the pool and relax in tea room. Parking in town was easy and we were offered a garage space in the hotel.
Very comfortable bed, parking, AC, good hot shower, amazing breakfast that even included champagne as a beverage choice. The pool was nice but a little small for the overall size of the place. There are historic elements (not restored) if you ask about them.
Stayed overnight on way to Algarve. Lovely small town. The last who owns the hotel was lovely. Happy to tell us the history of the building. Really nice stay. Safe parking outside hotel free.
The historical building and location are great - we loved all the little chapels and frescoes dotted around the convent. Breakfast was good, free parking a bonus and the lounge area was nice, although the bar looked uninviting.
Wonderful large room with historic furnishings.Bathroom was very big with beautiful tiles.Loved the big thick walled corridors and little snippets of history everywhere. Old wall frescoes an old chapel.Big comfortable lounges. Our bikes had a parking place in the pousada in an old hallway.
Ideal to visit the Ducal Palace and parking outside the door.
Lady in reception was very friendly and helpful.
By hubby and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they gifted us with flowers and wine. A very nice gesture from them.
The privacy is very welcome. A room and pool only for your use. Plenty of parking space. And a welcome committee of Paquito and Cissy (two friendly dogs) as you arrive.
Great little hotel with lovely staff and clean rooms. Comfy bed and quality bed linen. Good hot shower and a great breakfast. Plenty of communal space and small pool to cool down in. No problem street parking.
The building has some lovely spaces for guests to enjoy. Our suite overlooking the pool was spacious with an adjoining comfortable seating area and nice balconies . The 4 poster bed was very comfortable. There was music available in all rooms . We found street parking near the hotel. Good restaurants, the palace and castle are a short stroll. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady running the breakfast room. The breakfast selection was good.
