It is difficult to know what to write as a review when everything was such a perfect fit for us; the property location, rooms, hosts, breakfast/refreshments on offer and overall ambiance all superb. The many animals on site may not prove to everyone’s taste but it is their home, and for us they added a wonderful extra reason to enjoy our stay. Susana and Vasco are such hospitable and helpful hosts, yet not at all intrusive, so we felt truly at home from the first minute to the last - it was so hard to leave when the time came! Thank you, we will return for sure one day.

Quiet little village. Pottery centre of the area. Convenience stores, bars, cafes & restaurants in short walking distance. Easy access to Monsaraz. Easy parking in front of houses across the road. Seating area at the back with a nice clean plunge pool at the back.
the location was close to Evora, Monsaraz, and Estremoz. Nice to have a heater in the bedroom. The small town itself is a major centre for ceramics with many excellent local artisans. Parking is free and easy just outside the property gate.
