It’s a really large space with plenty of room for pilgrims on the Caminho do Santiago. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are superb, the bedrooms are also clean and comfortable. Most importantly Marcelo and his wife Tatiana are excellent hosts. Marcelo made us feel very welcome and was available for anything we needed during our stay. I would love to stay again.

Wonderful location. Tucked away in an older area of the village. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Luxury towels for the pool. Breakfast was very good. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with great recommendations.

Palacete Villa Idalina is just an amazing place to stay and experience. We were cycling the Portuguese Camino and could only stay for one night. There was a lovely warm welcome from Andrés the owner who showed us around the grounds and villa and had a large garage area for us to store the two bikes over night. The gardens are beautiful with so many little areas to sit and relax. The pool was clean and great to relax in after a days cycling. We went to a restaurant on Andrés recommendation, literally a minute walk away and it was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was again amazing. On leaving again, Andrés was amazing and able to help with queries we had and his input on the next part of our trip. We could have stayed more central in Caminha in a modern apartment but were really glad we did not as we would not have had this amazing experience of hospitality from Andrés opening his home, the peace and tranquility, a proper local dining experience and complete relaxation. We are home now and both said that of all the places we stayed, this was a unique experience and definitely the best of the trip. We have already checked the travel time from Porto airport to visit again for longer and use it as a base to visit other areas. If you want to experience complete relaxation and comfort this is the place to stay.

The room was spacious. The location was rustic. The host was friendly and accommodating, and placed the call for our delivered meal (Moodz) which was good. The balcony was cozy and enjoyable. The coffee drinker was happy with the coffee.

I liked everything. I arrived early and Fernando helped me with my pack, he is delightful and showed me the beautiful accommodation. It feels like arriving home everything is comfy and clean, the beds are cozy and the bathroom super clean. Highly recommend.

The appartment was very cozy and welcoming. The furniture was very modern, it was clean and the bed was comfortable for me. The hosts were very mindful. For example, they gave me a lamp, just in case that the lights go down because of the storm.
