Ronnie welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour around his sustainable kingdom. A haven built into the Portuguese mountainside/jungle. This is as about as a remote a stay you can have whilst still enjoying functioning utilities. The few neighbours who build up the small community are all lovely souls, and it was a pleasure to share time, food, and drink with them. Loved it all. Spacious, had everything you could possibly need, lovely view, peaceful... we felt on top of the world. The night skies were amazing, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars. We all felt like we didn't want to leave. Definitely a place to go back to. Lovely host was always there for us without interfering. Amazing experience!! 💜
