The room is spacious and cosy, with great A/C. The bathroom is also large. It was not perfect. The shower had did not work properly and the fan was sticky. It has a bidet which we liked. The stuff was fantastic. Either the reception or cleaning, bar or restaurant were very service oriented and helpful. WIFI strong and stable. Very nice breakfast. It is located 20 minutes from Terra Nostra park and lake Furnas

Absolutely fantastic location in the Parque Terra Nostra. As guests of the hotel you have access to the park and the thermal pool 24/7. Whilst it doesn't look very inviting, the thermal pool is a must/highlight. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good. We did not use the Spa or indoor pool so cannot comment. Parking is available at the front of the hotel (make sure you drive through the first barrier you arrive at). Is it expensive to stay here - yes! Is it worth it - definitely! Our favourite hotel during our trip to San Miguel. Highly recommended!

The room is in a very nice house in Povoação. Everything was very clean and with great facilities. There's free parking on the street, right in front of the house. Miguel, the host, is very welcoming and helpful.
A great apartment with lots of room. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Street parking was very easy. Loved that they left us some bread/milk/juice.
This place was lovely - on arrival the view from the car park of the gardens and the hills beyond was just fabulous!
Having breakfast prepared for us was a treat and the apartment was very good for a family of three. We really enjoyed it and would stay here again. In the town we liked the beach area and the small manmade swimming pool alongside.

It was very quiet and peaceful up there in the village. Private parking was convenient. Also for our baby, everything we needed was provided.
We really liked the location as it was within walking distance of the beach and places to eat, yet, it was far enough away to be quiet at night — with the sound of the river running next to it. Conveniently located right above the market, we were able to park / keep our car in the parking lot across the street which was also really nice.
An adorable B&B with a large garden and mountain views - Fatima is passionate about her home town and island, and her energy is contagious. She was great to talk with about the island, things to do, and hearing her stories about her mother and why they started Casa de Cisaltina was really nice.
The rooms were really comfortable, the house welcoming, easy parking, access to the key attractions in the area of Furnas and more.
