The hostel is very clean, the staff constantly keeps it clean. The beds are comfortable, there are sockets and lamps nearby. There are lockers in the room. There are many bathrooms in the hostel, which does not cause queues. They are clean too. At the reception, you can take an umbrella for the beach for free, buy drinks or snacks. Everybody were super friendly. Also there is a nice rooftop at the hostel with the beautiful view! The best part is you need only 1 minute to reach the beach from the hostel!! :)

Having read numerous negative reviews I was surprised by how much I like this place; really got a kick out of the dated, retro furnishings. Hotel and wait staff were very earnest and eager to please. Dinner and breakfast quite good. Room and bed very comfortable. View from either side of hotel is good; one side facing the sea, the other facing an estuary with fishing boats. The beach is long and beautiful, sorry we didn't have time to explore. I would definitely return.

The location and views were fantastic. The house itself is on of the oldest on the beach and is architect designed in the Bauhaus style. Some of the original features can be seen and the proportion of the design is wonderful. Actually it's quite a privilege to be able to spend time there. There are three or 4 good restaurants within 100 metres and the main beach is 40 metres from the house. I guess you could be worried about the proximity of the airport but it's not really intrusive and at night makes for an interesting view.

During summer, there is a ferry service departing a few steps away to Faro old town. A bus stop can also be found across the bridge. Apartamentos Barracuda offers free private parking on site upon request.

The apartments are in a convenient location across from the beach and close to good restaurants. Marcos was so welcoming and gave a great orientation to the area.

Location close to the airport is very convenient. Was worried about airport noise but was not a problem. House is a good size for the number of guests and kitchen well stocked. Owners very nice and good communication.
