My room was facing the harbour and my timing was perfect as aI saw the cruise ship come and go. The hotel is very close to the town central so a very convenient location. Breakfast foods was freshly prepared. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and eager to please the guest. I particularly liked the extra touch of hats for the guest, the delivery of a fruit basket upon arrival and the hand deliver of an afternoon "cookie pack". I am a very satisfied customer!

Everything was perfect. The hostel is very new and well organised. The whole place is very clean. Rooms are big enough to have plenty of privacy even in the dorm rooms. Breakfast is very good and there is very nice patio garden in the back. Ines (contact person) was very friendly and willing to help. There is not enough good words I can say about this place.

We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.

Fairly new exceptionally clean apartment style villa. The owner was more than helpful answering questions and providing for our needs such as an early breakfast and information on restaurants. The room had adequate kitchen equipment to allow you to make easy meals. A large grocery store is a short distance away. The kitchen had a few basic herbs and spices that you could use. It was very quiet with a secure locked entrance after 5:00 that each guest had a remote to be able to enter.

Amazing stay! The hotel has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The team was very attentive, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The design of the hotel is also worth mentioning, as it is great. The breakfast was delicious, made from local ingredients and delivered to the room at the selected time. The room also had a kitchen and dining area, equipped with everything needed for cooking. Additionally, a coffee machine and capsules were provided. The hotel also offers amenities such as a sauna, pool, and gym area. It is worth mentioning that these facilities are accessible to all guests. Also, they have a garage available for up to three cars. I had inquired about it in advance, and it was ready for us upon arrival. Moreover, at the end of our stay, they surprised us with a sweet gift. It was a lovely gesture that we truly appreciated. Thank you!

This is an amazing place! Emanuel is a wonderful host, he welcomes you and shows you all around. The room is spacious, comfy, spotlessly clean and nice modern style. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is very nice as well. You'll get a towel for each day of your stay as well as some towels to take with you if you're planning to go to the baths. They really think of everything! The common kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you might need. All the kitchen equipment is new, there's also coffee machine, toaster, microwave, just everything. They send you a message with "must see" places before your stay and Emanuel keeps sending travel tips in the island throughout your stay. You'll get really a personal approach here and since there are only four rooms in this hostel, it's very cozy and quiet. I was very happy here, it was a good choice and I would definitely come back!
