This is small hotel with strategic location on a walking distance from Porto airport, so it is ideal for late arrivals or transits. The hotel’s design is very innovative; the rooms are nice with comfortable bed. But above all that is very kind stuff; nice lady who brought us in the room two glasses of sparkling wine and cake just few minutes after our arrival. The basket with rich breakfast in front of our door in the morning also made us very happy. The rent-a-car service is just few steps from the hotel, so we started our trip next morning very easily. I absolutely recommend Hotel Solar Antigo Porto Aeroporto.

Immaculately clean! Excellent communication from host. An 8 minute walk (on sidewalks) to the airport). Host was kind enough to leave us juice, coffee, fresh bread, cheese and ham for a quick breakfast before our 6am flight. Plenty of space in our unit to spread out and organize. One challenge for some may be a short spiral staircase…..we were able to manage with our carry-on bags no problem. Wouldn’t want to schlep up a big or heavy suitcase.
