We stayed in one of the Mountain View rooms and we really enjoyed it. A separate cabin from the main house, with beautiful views and the added benefit of being able to relax on your own terrace.

While the driveway is unexpectedly steep, it is 1000% worth it once you arrive. We were greeted immediately upon arrival with our keys, a welcome glass of homemade port and an offer to prepare a homemade charcuterie/tapas platter for our family of 4 including a bottle of wine made from their grapes grown on the property.
It was delivered to our patio outside one of our two rooms and we enjoyed sunset with enough food to feed six people ( great when you have teenaged boys) with sweeping views over the Douro Valley.
Quinta dos Padrinhos is a charming little slice of heaven with a picturesque pool and a lovely couple who own and run this vacation property. And the next morning began with an indulgent breakfast by the pool followed by a refreshing swim before we packed to depart for the next leg of our adventure.
Just a wonderful stopover that feels very authentic amidst many other more commercial offerings around the valley. Highly recommend.

We love this little country house. It is nicely decorated and has everything you need for a few days. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, cutlery etc.There is a big bowl of fruit and another of nuts also coffee pods. The bed is comfy, sheets and towels are clean. The bathroom is newly renovated and is very nice. The unit is very clean. It's in a nice quiet spot in the country, only a 10 minute drive from Lamego. The owner, Susana, is very helpful and friendly and even did our laundry for us! Parking is right outside. To find the exact location zoom in on the Booking.com map to see the house number Google Maps will tell its a few doors away so go by house numbers.
