Location was wonderful, very peaceful with a lovely garden. The apartment had been very thoughtfully equipped, there were plenty of spare towels, it was spotlessly clean and even 2 bottles of water provided.

Ronnie welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour around his sustainable kingdom. A haven built into the Portuguese mountainside/jungle. This is as about as a remote a stay you can have whilst still enjoying functioning utilities. The few neighbours who build up the small community are all lovely souls, and it was a pleasure to share time, food, and drink with them. If someone likes peace and quiet, this is the location for them because the facility is located in the middle of nowhere :-)). Or rather on a hill from which there is a beautiful view of the surrounding hills with a few individual farms. There are free bikes available on the premises.
