We were lucky enough to be the first guests staying at this beautiful place for a week! The place is tastefully decorated in a lovely village with friendly villagers. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals, and the bathroom is the highlight, we truly enjoyed our showers under the sunlight with palm tree! The pool area is very beautiful as well. Ruben & his wife are the friendliest and most accommodating hosts ever, we encountered the hottest week in Portugal in history (43c!) while we were staying there, Ruben & his wife have prepared us a fan so the heat was still manageable. Our requests and questions were always promptly addressed and replied, we can feel that they're truly passionate about what they do and go extra miles to make sure their guests fully enjoy their stays. We had such a wonderful time at Casa Susana. On arrival we were met by our lovely host who warmly showed us around, and what a beautiful property it is. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious Portuguese custard tarts and wine that had been left for us. The property is located on the outskirts of small village with stunning views from all the windows and many sitting areas and pool. All the members of our family loved this wonderful home and would highly recommend a stay here. It is only a short drive to all the sites and local amenities. Thanks for a fantastic stay.
