I'm an American journalist doing a series of articles on cycling in Portugal for several American magazines. This stop was one of my better accomodations so far. Beautiful home, and room was outstanding. Couldn't have asked for more after a hard day of cycling. Most luxury hotels aren't this nice. Good reception. If anything, pictures for the listing don't do justice to how nice the place is.

The hosts were fantastic. We are walking the Camino and arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to sit by the pool while our room was readied. The location is very near the Camino route, however there are not many services nearby.

Lovely, serene place to stay with beautiful gardens and a great pool/tennis court. The owners were friendly and hospitable - we really enjoyed finding out more about the history of the house and area. Their knowledge really helped us to understand a little more about the region and made it easier to know where to find certain places. Thoroughly recommend!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Hosts were incredible, helping out to retrieve forgotten bag left at previous cafe, they spoke very good English which helped enormously.
The setting for the property is second to none, facilities were excellent and all available to use, buffet breakfast was good and varied, room was large with direct access to large patio area.
