Numerous problems. The check in impossible. We had to drive in excess of 20 kms to check in at an office in downtown Lagos, one way street, no parking. The so called "quinta" is a scruffy converted industrial/farm building. Advertised as two bedrooms but you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other, no hanging space, hook, mirror in this room, hardly a bedroom. Tiny shower room only suitable for ultra slim people, no soap, no shampoo.
No juicer, no milk/water/tea bags left. As an AL owner I always provide these. The pool was a joke. A childrens plastic above ground pool , filthy dirty as was the so called "terrace/patio" area. Weeds, old bonfires, old bottles
We were woken at 6 am with barking dogs either in a shed in the building or next door, they barked for over two hours. Finally the property is on a dangerous bend and a mirror needs to be erected to show vehicles approaching from the right. All prospective tenants need to be aware of all these shortcomings.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect: a quiet neighborhood five minutes walk to the beach and ten minutes ride to the center of town. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. And breakfast was great.

This hotel is a gem. If you plan to stay in Lagos, this is the best place. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is a good size. top-end amenities. They even left us a lovely bottle of wine. The pool is lovely with good quality chairs. They supply high-end beach towels, which you can also take with you to the beach and exchange daily. The breakfast is phenomenal. So much choice from eggs and sausages to meats and cheeses; they even have a vegetarian section. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking into town (10 minutes) and the beach (5 minutes). They have limited onsite parking but there is adequate free parking within 5 minutes walking distance. A fabulous place.

Residence Lagos is located in centre of Lagos, 100 metres from its historical walls and is 1 km away from the Train Station. The unit is 500 metres from the Batata Beach.

We were blown away the minute we walked into our room, it was on the top floor with a balcony, complete with sea and city views. The description of the room and the hotel's facilities is spot on, we had a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to recommend Residence Lagos to our friends and family. The breakfast is sumptuous and prepared fresh each day, the perfect way to start our day.
It's in an excellent location to the many shops and restaurants Lagos offers, plus the walks the many beaches and cliff top views.
The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble, special mention to Luis who check us in and Luana who farewelled us and gave us two cookies.
