The house is very clean and stylish with Portuguese style. We have everything we need in the house. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are warm. We are very satisfied with it, it's just like a home.
The host is very friendly and nice. The village, Beira is lovely and quiet. It's a good choice to stay there for exploring Marvao.

Location is fantastic for visiting the castle, and the views from the top room with private balcony were amazing!?The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and delicious! This was our second visit, and would return if we were in the area.

Marvao and our accomodation was a highlight so far on our 17 day road trip of Portugal.
The apartment was authentic and very comfortable, bed was super comfortable with lots of warm doonas, the bathroom was clean with great hot water.
We were the only guests for the night, kitchen facilities downstairs and a lounge. We ate out but did use the fridge. Coffee machine and our own cereal breakfast made a great start to the morning.
Host, Maria, was very welcoming and explained things well.
A great stay within the city walls and an easy walk to the castle.
Recommend this place for an overnight stay.

Lovely welcome from Soledade and Antonio, who are obviously passionate about their business. As we arrived they were baking bread in the wood fired oven. Everything is super clean, comfortable, and tasteful, our cottage had the MOST comfortable bed.There are lovely views of the countryside and Castelo de Vide on the hillside. The breakfast is to die for! All home made/ home grown produce... Absolutely delicious! We loved our stay there, and hope to return!
