Amazing view of the ocean and Faial Island. The patio is very large and has lots of room for dining, laying down, drying your clothes, etc. Apartments were spacious and clean with a wonderful view. Kitchen was fully equipped so you really don't need to bring anything with you if you plan to cook. Grocery store is a little bit of a walk to get to, but if you have a rental car it's a few minutes by car. Easy walk to the ferry terminal and right next to a natural ocean swimming pool.

Very tranquil atmosphere, nice and clean rooms with balcony, cosy and relaxing common area including a well-equipped kitchen we can use and a lot of books to read. Excellent breakfast with sea/garden view and local products, friendly and multilingual owners. They were very helpful and gave me a lot of insider tips for exploring Pico. The nature is very near, literally and figuratively too. Highly recommended.

We ended up doing the Pico mountain hike at the day of our departure. The person we dealt with (father of the owner) let us take a shower and stick around in another apartment (which we were lucky wasn't rented out) after checkout at no extra cost. In general, he was super nice and attentive and the communication with him was great even though he spoke only the most rudimentary English.
