Lovely place, very relaxing and would highly recommend for a long weekend getaway for a bit of sun. It smelt great, the decor was lovely and staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was amazing too!

High Villa Aka Barbies dream house, really was just that- a dream! The property was gorgeous with comfy beds, beautifully decorated, 2 huge kitchens, great bbq facilities , great Wi-Fi and a big pool! Joao was so lovely and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating.

The region was beautiful and the location great, outside the city but close enough to get anything needed 5min car.

Our host was extremely helpful allowing us to access our room early. The location of the property was very central. It was stylish and spotlessly clean. The shared kitchen was a bonus and the garden space was excellent. We loved having our morning coffee and evening meal outside in the sunshine. There was parking directly outside for our motorbike and we felt that it was secure there.
Joao and his family were great hosts. It was a stunning property will a lot of history , huge gardens to roam around in and a lovely swimming pool (which we didn’t have time to use). It took us about 50 minutes to get to Lisbon( though we knew it wasn’t close when we booked) as the route travels very close to the airport and there was a lot of traffic. However Joao suggested a car park just out of Lisbon with metro attached and it was easy going from there. A
large supermarket nearby is very convenient.

Superb historical house in the heart of Alenquer. João was a fantastic host. Parking available on premises and the house is a 5 min drive to supermarkets.
Easy instructions for self check-in and check-out. Apartment is equipped with everything we needed for a one night stay. Nice touch of having some snacks and water.
Location was not easy to find on the narrows streets uphill but the video provided by owner made it easy.

The location was perfect for me, as I was attending an event on the outskirts of Alenquer. There's plenty of on-street carparking available and it's just uphill from the public bus-stops linking to Lisbon and Vila Franca de Xira. The room itself was lovely: spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and with all the facilities needed to make for a very comfortable, productive stay.
