Very comfortable and quiet. Just a few min walk from the seaside. By car: 20 min from the airport, 5 min from highway, 4 min from Vila Franca do Campo. This was one of the best stays I've ever experienced. Very very friendly hosts. Despite a booking mistake on my side, they've arranged everything that it fitted our schedule. The house is extremely clean and you can feel the love for details that the hosts have put into making the stay as comfortable as it gets. You'll find fruits and milk and bread and home-made jam and alcohol on the table. There are separate towels for usage inside and outside of the house. A three-story garden behind the house that is only yours during the stay is an amazing place to spend your time while you are not travelling around the island. There you have a table, a brick grill and fresh vegetables. You park your car just in front of the door, I mean it literally, you can open the door of your car while standing on the threshold. A beautiful 250m long unsupervised sandy beach is just 7 minutes away and we were mostly alone there (end of August), enjoying a warm ocean.

The apartment was in an excellent location within a short walking distance to the beach and village. Upon arrival, Natacha met us to make sure we had everything we needed. She left some local goodies for us in the kitchen, which was amazing! She also checked in on us throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the clean and spacious apartment and would love to stay there again. It was a comfortable place for our family to call home for 5 days!
