Staying in a real castle was so amazing! The moment we drove around the corner in the town and saw it on the hill, we gasped amazement. We had such a lovely time staying here. The castle has been lovingly restored - it has rooms, a restaurant and a museum, as well as grounds with cannons. The restaurant serves Polish food, which was awesome to try. Also the acoustics in the Chapel were next level!
The whole place was very clean (I can't imagine how much work it is to keep a castle clean!) and the rooms were good. They weren't super luxe - I've stayed in "palaces" before and they always seemed a bit hoity-toity but this castle you could imagine it functioning centuries ago. It was incredible value for money and we (and our kids!) adored it.

What I liked most about the place was definitely the location. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast and the meals served in the restaurant. It is worth booking for these reasons alone. We went there for a wedding and the entire event was perfectly organized. I highly recommend this venue for weddings.
There are plenty of attractions for kids, a great wet spa area and the cleanliness is impressive. Check-in was fairly quick and there is good parking space availability. The bathrooms are nice, the rooms are spacious and the air conditioning is efficient.
