Set in Taupo, The Belfry is a recently renovated accommodation, 41 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley and 5.4 km from Great Lake Convention Centre.

Nestled in the quiet suburbs of Taupo this modern, cosy little apartment is delightful. It is surrounded by the beauty of the well maintained garden and a view of the lake beyond the roof tops. It was a winter stay so it was a a relief for me to find it very adequately heated with a heat pump in the compact lounge area. It was extra comfortable with heated floor tiles in the bathroom and electric blanket on the very comfortable bed. The bathroom was seriously understated. It has a rainfall style showerhead in a very modern and spacious shower, heated towel rail and I mention again ,heated floor tiles. The kitchenette is small as stated but has everything for basic cooking or heating of meals and a very decent sized fridge/freezer, better than many hotels I have stayed in. The hosts Mandy and Paul are nearby if needed but otherwise keep it respectfully private.

We enjoyed that the house was new and upto date with its heating as it was very cold and raining when we have our trip.

Lakeview's On Richmond is a recently renovated apartment in Taupo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

Very private and in a great location. Hosts met us as we arrived, showed us around and were very helpful suggesting places of interest. A huge file on the property and things to do were there for us to look at.
