Michelle and Tim were on site to welcome us despite us arriving late at night. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. It was located near the water front such that we could take the kayak out on high tide. The location is a short drive away from Kaiteriteri where one can take the aqua taxi to the Abel Tasman Park. It was a superb location - so peaceful with wonderful views. Our host, Mark, was not there so we had the entire beautiful house to ourselves. We soaked in the jacuzzi, washed clothes, cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen, and spread out everything we owned to get ready for a 3-day tramp in Abel Tasman. I wish we could have stayed longer.
