We loved the views from the patio and wall-to-wall windows, but also all the little touches - from the heated floor in the bathroom to the delicious breakfast goodies to the occasional visits from Harley, the dog. The hosts were very welcoming and provided many excellent recommendations that enabled to make the most of our short time in the area. Staying in this vineyard will be one of the top memories from our two weeks in New Zealand.

Nestled in the heart of picturesque vineyards, St Leonard Vineyard Cottages is set on 4.5 acres of beautiful gardens. All private cottages offer views of either the mountains, vines or gardens.
Guests can enjoy exploring the grounds admiring the mature trees, bird life and vines. You can even feed the sheep, deer and chickens. You can enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool or have a game of Petanque or tennis. Cycle tours are a popular form of transport around the cellar doors.

Our host Sean greeted us warmly and gave us a tour. The studio is modern, very clean and well equipped. The host washes the dishes every day. The view of the sheep, vineyards and mountains is extraordinary. The bikes they provided were ideal for getting around the wineries. Special hint: Check out the food from "Gohan On Scott"!
