We stayed in one of the cabins and we absolutely loved it here. We booked Driftaway last minute due to a canceled flight so we only had one night here but we wished we had more. We travelled New Zealand for almost a month and this was the most comfortable and most well equipped place we stayed! The staff were so welcoming and really went above and beyond. The wifi was strong and smart tv was fantastic. The bathroom, shower and shower products were wonderful. The laundry room on site was very useful, especially being able to pay by card . They really have thought of everything on this property we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The view of the lake was breathtaking too! We hope to come to Queenstown again and when we do this will be our first choice!

Ingrid is an exceptional host. The room was stocked with quality goodies, foccacia bread, wine, smoothie, eggs, muffin, snacks etc. The view is fantastic, room is clean & well equipped. A perfect piece of heaven. In fact, friends are asking me about where I was staying. There's books, comfy sofa and throws to make yourself comfortable during the winter. Ingrid takes pride in her business and ensure that all her guests are well taken off by checking in to make sure everything is ok. I would totally stay there again then some big hotel chains.
