Great location in Mt Cook Village, with views to Mt Cook. The beds are comfy, the lounge and common kitchen is cosy, spacious and well equipped, with picture window views to the mountains. All the guests used the area cooperatively and with consideration.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
There are no grocery food shopping facilities on the mountain and restaurants are limited, so it's worth coming equipped with foods you can prepare for yourself.

20 minutes away from the Tasman River Hike and Hooker Valley Hike, you couldn't ask for more. Views of snow capped mountains and the stunning Mt Cook too. Breathtaking scenery, I just sat and looked at the view. The cabin was comfy, and all the staff fantastic.

The facilities were simple but still cosy and very lovely! The family who runs the cabins are also hospitable and friendly. This was one of our favourite experiences while visiting NZ
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The view from the room was breathtaking. Staff was nice and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious.
Easy and convinient free parking. Rooms are very tidy, nice, modern.
Mt Cook is a remote location and this hotel is amongst the only ones there. We had booked a 2 bedroom villa - excellent views of the snow capped mountains, very friendly reception staff , easy to pick up keys even a little late, car parking in front of the villa. The house is well insulated , irrespective of the temperatures outside. Comfy beds, neat, clean , daily service provided . We didnt go to the restuarants so cant comment on those . The best was the jaccuzi -most relaxing after the trek.
Staff were super friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean, and its location (only a 2 minute walk from the DOC Visitor Centre and with plenty of parking nearby) was super convenient too.
Idyllic setting right near the base of Mt Cook with fabulous facilities, tasty food and stylish room. Ample car parking and close to the Hooker Valley Track and other iconic hikes.
Amazing location, amazing views. Only a few minutes walk to the start of the trails and food options. Tidy and clean, heating, free parking, coin laundry & dryer available.
