Staying here for 3 nights was truly worth every penny. The view was breathtaking, and I didn’t mind the 45-minute drive from the main road to reach this amazing spot. The facilities were excellent, with everything I needed provided. Our generous host even moved us from the huts to the shears(complete with an indoor kitchen and bathroom) knowing it was going to snow tomorrow, such a thoughtful gesture! I’d say this is the best place I’ve experienced so far in New Zealand, with some of the most incredible views. We will definitely come again!

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The view from the room was breathtaking. Staff was nice and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious.

Mt Cook is a remote location and this hotel is amongst the only ones there. We had booked a 2 bedroom villa - excellent views of the snow capped mountains, very friendly reception staff , easy to pick up keys even a little late, car parking in front of the villa. The house is well insulated , irrespective of the temperatures outside. Comfy beds, neat, clean , daily service provided . We didnt go to the restuarants so cant comment on those . The best was the jaccuzi -most relaxing after the trek.
Staff were super friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean, and its location (only a 2 minute walk from the DOC Visitor Centre and with plenty of parking nearby) was super convenient too.
