We had a wonderful stay at the Old Oak. The building itself is gorgeous, a well preserved slice of Mangonui history. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by our hosts. The property exceeded our expectations, the room was beautifully decorated, clean and warm, with a super comfy bed. The property is a short stroll along the boardwalk to some great eateries in Mangonui. Such a lovely romantic place to stay. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Friendly welcome at check in and first impressions on walking into the apartment were fantastic. Glorious light, airy space with beautiful views out of every window. Apartment well appointed with a decent separate bedroom with a comfortable bed. Kitchen well kitted out for self-catering and good lounge area with patio doors to sitting are outside. Close to the pub and restaurants in town (up and down a fairly steep hill). Good parking area immediately outside the apartment.
Room had doors that opened up onto the balcony. Nice view from balcony. Restaurant and traditional pub downstairs. Lots of parking out the front. Easy walk to everything in Mangonui.
Spacious room, adequate cooking facilities, comfy bed, good shower, very clean. Great view from the veranda - so long as you as stood up - sit down and the railing block the view.
Parking right in front of the apartment, steep, short hill to access the parking lot, then a blind turn left in to the lot if you have a low car - SUV and you are fine.
Great location, nice views over the water, if you had the sea view rooms, but we were in a garden room. Parking available. Short walk to shops and restaurants.

Good Location. Very Helpful staff. Off street parking was arranged for my motorcycle. The bed was very comfortable and sheets and towels were in excellent condition. Soap was provided and there was a small kitchen area with a microwave and coffee making facilities.
