We stayed there for a short get away from the city life and must admit that this beautiful on the countryside is a perfect spot. David welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the property. The room has plenty space and was clean and cozy. one of the cats paid a visit and the super friendly dog said goodbye on the morning we leave. Nice experience and will definitely come back again next time.

This Motel room was amazing. The living space was huge and the furniture very comfortable. Full size fridge freezer, dishwasher and a BATH. We only stayed one night as we were passing through. There is a pub 50 metres away, great beer and food and two cafes nearby. I was given a late check out at short notice. We were very impressed with this motel and we do a lot of travelling. This will definitely be our place to stop near Christchurch.

Exceeded expectations! Grant and Cathy were lovely and their dog Gretel was a highlight. Amazing gardens and views. The room/house feels modern and stylish, spacious and even a balcony. I arrived at night and woke in the morning to great views and baby rabbits on the lawn and swans in the river. I was travelling alone but felt safe and the property has security gates at the entrance.
