Great interaction with Neil the owner. He was very informative about the area which we appreciated. Neil also generously supplied us with petrol when we realised we wouldn't have made it to the next service station. As there was no running water in the cabin, Neil advised he would do all the dishes! Grateful for that.

Anita was incredibly helpful. She was overflowing with kindness and hospitability. She helped us with our biking tours, laundry, car parking needs and where to walk. She responded to all our questions with above and beyond help.
The property is very close to the Karangahake gorge historic walk site(just opposite to it). Also, you get hot tub/spa to relax and chill. Parking on the site is available. Host/Staff were very sweet to talk and approachable. There is enough space out on the deck to sit and enjoy your drinks. Bedroom and toilets were clean and well maintained.
