The location couldn't have been much better, just a short walk across a green space to the small town of Hahei. Mike and Andrea were terrific hosts and gave us good advice on things to do and places to eat. They also provided a shovel for nearby Hot Water Beach.
Offering accommodation just a 3-minute walk from the centre of Hahei and 600 metres from the beach, Hahei Beach Bach features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, one bedroom, a modern bathroom...

Absolutely amazing weekend! The house felt like home. To top it off, the neighbours and community were very welcoming 🙏🏾 😀 Definitely coming back 🌟
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Beautiful and quiet place where you could hear lots of different birds' songs. As we came to winter, it was quiet and oeaceful. Hotwater beach is walkibg distance and you don't have to pay very expensive car park there!
Lovely helpful receptionist at checkin. Small table and chairs in the cabin can be moved onto the deck for dining out. Nice fresh twin bed cabin with deck that has comfortable chairs and parking close beside it. The Park is well laid out so that it doesn't feel as big as it is and it is well maintained
Nice cabins, grounds and pool.
We really liked the surrounds, parking, space and pool. Delux cabin was great. Staff friendly. Extra activities to book.
Loved the area of this place it was amazing. The beach just a short walk or drive away and so beautiful. (I would recommend walking as paying for the parking was quite expensive)
The cabin I stayed in was clean and quiet, bathroom and kitchen facilities were also very clean and well-stocked. The overall facility was well-lit and felt clean and safe. Ample parking, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. Great location just a 10 minute walk from hot water beach.
The cottage would be best described as rustic in a great location to Hot Water Beach. Given that we attended just after this part of NZ had just experienced a Cyclone and floods , it wasn't an ideal time to explore this region. We were told all roads were open to the Coromandel Peninsula , this was not the case at all. Many roads and facilities were all closed , which was disappointing. However, in better times , this is a great location to explore this part of the coast.
Plenty of parking at the cottage.
great location with waling distance to great cafe art galleries and hot water beach. Easy off street parking for more than one car. outdoor table and chairs facing sunny garden. comfy sofas. Comfy beds and sunny, airy rooms. Owner was fast to respond when we needed things. Was advertised with a microwave but there wan't one but she arrived with one quickly when we requested.
