The room is clean and tidy ~ you can see Mt. Cook from here. What makes it exceptional is our hosts Trish and Colin, oh, and Teddy the dog. When we arrived around 7 p.m. Trish was there to greet us and showed us the room. The next morning, breakfast was truly amazing with fresh eggs and veggies, milk, cheese, and home-grown fruits. Teddy even showed us his tricks after breakfast! Chatting with Trish and Colin shows how hard it was during the past few years due to the pandemic and how much they love this type of countryside lifestyle. Nice kitchen, I guess some may have difficulty with European style or appliances, but we have similar, so no problems. I read some reviewers found the bathroom door was sticking or they didn't like the bathroom blinds. I'm reporting the bathroom door slides easily, and even if someone put their nose up to the window they couldn't possibly see anything. The property is as nice as the interior photos show. Remodel was very tastefully done. Thank you for the bottle of wine.
