The hosts, Kriston & Melia were really nice. The self contained unit was lovely with everything we needed for our stay. It looked like new and was directly behind the hosts house. Easy flat surface to negotiate our suitcases from the car. Cereal, bread & jams for breakfast and there was even drinks in the fridge and a basket of snacks that were very reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

What a wonderful little cottage! We loved it from the minute we pulled up. Easy to find, about 15 minutes from Hokitika and 15 minutes from Greymouth. The beautiful gardens all around the property, the wonderful view across the field, a nice patio to sit at and have your supper. How nice to be welcomed with a bowl of fresh fruit, a carton of milk and a bottle of orange juice in the fridge. There’s a large washing machine with laundry soap provided and you can hang your clothes on the drying rack inside or outside on the line. This is truly a home away from home. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Sadly we only stayed for one night as we were on the return journey of our trip back to Christchurch, and needed a bed for the night. Could have easily stayed here for a few nights to enjoy the area.
