Mont’s cottage and gardens were so charming and well cared for. The host left a fruit, milk, bread for guest use. The beach access was a bonus. We spent a month in New Zealand and this was one of our favorite places we stayed.

Is like a farm stay with 2 piggy, 2 sheets, hens and 2 dogs. Generous amount of breakfast was provided like 2 milks, 2 oranges juices, 2 packets of muesli, cookies, cornflakes, breads, coffee, tea, etc. The place is well maintained, looks like new.

friendly staff, great amenities. only issue was there is no blanket/ duvet. they do email you to tell you this but unfortunately I had booked last minute while already on the road

Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Sadly we only stayed for one night as we were on the return journey of our trip back to Christchurch, and needed a bed for the night. Could have easily stayed here for a few nights to enjoy the area.
