What a wonderful little cottage! We loved it from the minute we pulled up. Easy to find, about 15 minutes from Hokitika and 15 minutes from Greymouth. The beautiful gardens all around the property, the wonderful view across the field, a nice patio to sit at and have your supper. How nice to be welcomed with a bowl of fresh fruit, a carton of milk and a bottle of orange juice in the fridge. There’s a large washing machine with laundry soap provided and you can hang your clothes on the drying rack inside or outside on the line. This is truly a home away from home. Kids LOVED this location. loved the playground and zipline. It was quiet and comfortable. Each unit had it's own little outdoor space. We had our own picnic table outside our small cabin. It was perfect. The kitchen was clean and had adequate supplies. Bathrooms and showers were also clean. It's a relatively small place so bathrooms and kitchen were close by. Overall, it was just really easy to stay there because everything was easy to use and access and kids were happy.
