Lovely hotel which captures the essence of Pokhara with colorful flowers on the patio and view of the Lake as well as snowcapped mountains from the balconies. Rooms were clean and hygienic, staff were very friendly. Value for money. Even though it rained for most of our stay we did not feel bored as the hotel was comfortable and you could easily walk up and down the river side from the hotel.

If you’re coming back from a long hike in Nepal, this is the place to be. It’s impressive how all the staff feels very connected to the place and does everything to make you feel at home. You can find everywhere photos/ books about the story of Mingtang and how it all started. The garden is gorgeous and it’s quite silent, considering it’s in the city center of Pokhara. The owner is easily available and she can help you with everything, booking bus tickets, planning your day and suggesting restaurants. They make breakfast boxes in case you’re leaving early in the morning!
