The hotel feels so clean and has an air of relaxation about it. The family showed great hospitality, made delicious food, and we were even lucky to be invited to a dinner party with their friends and family.
It was delightful to meet their elder son Sagar, who was also extremely hospitable, was a very interesting partner for conversation, speaks great English, and answered many of our questions and explained many things about Nepal that nobody else was able to explain to us on this trip.

We were upgraded to the room overlooking the Patan Durbar Square because the host family thought we would be happier there. Grateful for their concern, because the view was priceless indeed. One could sit at the window for hours and watch the festive processions, friends saying their goodbyes, young artists painting, elderly people chatting -- all of the true charm of this bustling cultural capital. Even though it was a short stay, our host family felt like old friends who would go the extra mile to make you feel at home - they are great guides if you want to learn about local food and history, and great company if you want to have an evening chat overlooking the view. The host are lovely people, I spent one week in this beautiful place. The rooms are very nice, comfortable bed, nice furniture, clean, cute view on the traditional fountain. You can have lunch and dinner with them, the food is organic and delicious, I directly felt home here.
We had beautiful and interesting conversations, the host is a great artist of typical bouddhisme sculpture. I had the chance to discover his work.
Also the area is surrounded by amazing temples to visit. If you need any informations and help, they will help you a lot.
