Positive: The place is available by taxi from Kathmandu. Nice mointain view from terrace. Owner and staff were ready to help. The owner even lended his scooter for us. Neutral: Rooms are of decent quality, as expected from average country guesthouse around the world. They are not heated, the same as everywhere in the neiborhood, but hot shower is available. A bunch of routes in walking distance around: village+memorial park, temples, waterfall. Expect ~20 kph speed down the NH18 unpaved road, probably 4x4 only after rain. They served us huge plates of Dāl bhāt for each lunch and a dinner, for that charged additional 3 USD per serving per person at departure.

The house is nice, kitchen is big. It’s a good distance from the city Center for a weekend getaway. The view from the rooftop is quite nice and we were able to sleep 11 people very comfortably. The rating would have been much higher if not for the ridiculously intrusive on site staff. If management corrects this it will be a big improvement.

The location was perfect, the apartment was very comfortable, with two air-conditioned rooms with the possibility of heating and two fully equipped bathrooms. There was always unlimited hot water and fully equipped and comfortable kitchen. The hosts were very helpful, they helped with all difficulties, even such as buying medicines when suffering from a cold. I would highly recommend it!
