We had such a lovely stay, the hotel is very relaxed and friendly, the staff were all wonderful. The ski lifts are just outside, and there is a ski rental shop at the hotel, too, where the staff were also really helpful and friendly. The atmosphere of the whole place is very understated and relaxing. We'd love to come back!

The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, if a little busy (but that was summer camp week). The restaurant was very quiet, but the food was well cooked & presented.

Easy to find, easy self check in. Great location. Easy parking.
Lovely historic home. Perfectly clean.
Amazing, comfortable common areas and huge modern kitchen for self-catering.
With only 11 rooms, it felt like an exclusive and homely stay.
Husband and I had a double room - cannot fault.
Our adult daughters had a bunk room - a little cramped and stuffy but they still enjoyed the stay.
Breakfast in hotel was lovely.

An excellent cabin. I stayed with a group of 9 (4 adults and 5 children) and there was ample space. The cabin is very well set up with great facilities, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and there are two separate living room areas. The location is perfect for skiing in the Trysil area, about a 10min drive (max). The host was brilliant and communicated well throughout the stay. I'd certainly recommend this cabin for groups and families.
