This is a classic older farm house that has been updated/remodeled with a completely modern kitchen, but it has the some of the charming older furnishings that makes it feel like you’re coming home each day after being out hiking and exploring the islands. The views from all the big windows are lovely and it’s so very quiet being about 1/2 mile off the main highway in a rural farm area.

The apartment was perfect! Everything was very new and/or recently renovated. The kitchen, bathroom, living room where all new and stylishly outfitted/equiped. The area is very quiet and remote, which we liked a lot! We slept very good. Even though there is light even during the night, the window blinds closed properly, so no problem to sleep! Unlike what previous reviewers have written, there is actually an Internet connection that works very well (was fast enough for our needs)! There is a small lake behind the house and a "farm trail" going to a near summit which is a nice little adventure. Some reviewers also complaint about the gravel access road, but we had no problem reaching the property (in summer) with our (NOT 4x4) rental car (Toyota Corolla).

Excellent location. Beautiful setting. Well equipped and very cosy. Quiet, but still close to the E10 for easy access in all directions. A number of wonderful walking trails accessible directly from the property.

The surrounding of the house is well kept. We chose the location to be isolated from the crowd for a while. If fulfilled that purpose.
