this is the best place to stay on the lungen. this is the first time I've seen such a well-equipped cabin. special thanks to the owner for sharp knives!😀 The kitchen has everything you need to cook any food! despite the proximity of the road it is not audible. neighbors live far away. we rested with dogs and no one was disturbed as well as us. the ferry pier in Tromso is 3 km away. we will definitely come back! Thanks Arild!

Best apartment in lyngen. Really fully equipped with everything one needs. Very clean, easy access from the ferry in svensby. Very quiet. If any problems or questions occur you can always ask the hosts about anything you need and they are very helpful .

Wonderful property and outdoor area, we loved siting outside with the fire pit looking out to the beautiful views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. We even got to see reindeers strolling by from the kitchen window and the northern lights from the garden at night, which was truly magical. Great amenities, everything you need to feel at home and super easy to get to from the ferry, only a few minutes down the road, and great location for exploring this beautiful part of Norway.

Super easy check in with keys ready waiting for us. Hege our host was very nice and very accommodating - despite the property preferring card payments she accepted cash that we had from our previous trips to Norway. Great amenities - all that you could wish for in the kitchenette, even coffee maker, TV (with some English channels if you're not that good with Norwegian!), also worth noting that despite freezing temperatures outside (minus 15 C!) it was very warm and cozy inside. Large terrace a big bonus. Couldn't spend much time on it due to this being February ;-) But at night in February, what a great spot to do some stargazing and, most importantly, watch the magic of Northern Lights! A brilliant location - we got to see Northern Lights literally from our terrace here and it was magical ;-) We expected to drive around a lot in search of Aurora Borealis but that's actually not the case - now we've learned that if this wonder is visible on a particular night, then providing there are no clouds, you can see it from everywhere really! We did drive around though as it is better and more spectacular when watched from where there's no artificial light pollution and the camping is well lit (not a fault, just a fact). Well stocked supermarket 20min away in Lyngseidet, Tromso Ice Domes 2H, Tromso 1H including 20min ferry. All drives spectacular, and we had been extensively travelling all over Norway in the past so can compare ;-) Not a complain but our beds could've done with a more firm mattresses - was OK for our 3 nights short stay, would be a bit uncomfortable if we were to stay longer (which we will in future!) - again, it wasn't a big issue and definitely won't put us off from booking here again. Overall, a brilliant short stay in this magical part of the world - after many summertime trips, a great first time winter visit to Norway.
