Hindseter
Set in a late 1800s wooden building, this countryside hotel is in Hindseter, 60 km from Otta. The hotel restaurant serves Nordic cuisine with local produce. Hindsæter has a wellness area, plus views of the Jothunheimen Mountains and Sjoa River.

The hotel is stunningly situated. The suites at the hotel are beautiful with lots of local and historical details. The lounge area with large windows facing the valley is great for chilling out with a local beer in the evening. We only had a short stay but we’re spoilt for choice on the number of hikes from the hotel- they were all well sign posted and we got good advice from reception. Breakfast was in the lovely historic dining room and used local produce. The whole place is very friendly and full of character. Can’t wait to go back!
Stuttgongfossen (Near Hindseter )
Sjodalen Hyttetun og Camping is a recently renovated chalet in Stuttgongfossen, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The chalet also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

This property was a big positive surprise. We had a big room with three sections; kitchen with couch and table and chairs, pretty big bathroom and very comfortable bedroom. The windows were on the whole wall giving us an amazing view! Everything was very clean and really new. There were 3 more, probably looking similar, rooms but with not that many windows and view.
Stuttgongfossen (Near Hindseter )
