Lars cooked a delicious dinner for us even though we were the only tourists as the summer season was coming to a close.
This is a special place because it has a special owner. We only spent one night travelling from Lofoten to Lyngen Alps, but would consider coming for longer, especially in Winter with the hottub and the big windows facing North!

Cabins were hand crafted using natural materials and clever wood work. Very unique and created a relaxing atmosphere. Our cabin was nestled amongst birch trees and you could see the dogs in their kennels. The dogs are very friendly and loved a pat. This would be a magical place to visit in winter for an authentic husky experience. The dogs were peaceful throughout the night. They welcome the morning and evening with a group howl which was lovely and get excited when breakfast comes or they go to exercise but otherwise very calm. The open fire was very warm and cosy. The Lamas were friendly and interesting to watch. There are walks through the birch forest from the accomodation. Would be an excellent place to view northern lights , we saw some faint lights but it was a bit cloudy.

The apartment was larger than expected. As it is located on the hillside it has a large window that provides a wide view over the city, sea and mountains beyond. There is also a terrace with a great view which can also be used for the northern lights, although circumstances were poor during our stay.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
