This was our favorite place we stayed at while traveling through Norway. The hotel was incredibly quaint and unique. The breakfast was excellent, various choices, and great quality. The common areas were beautiful and very comfortable, they are a great place to rest and get drinks. The decoration of the whole place was very welcoming. The staff is lovely and do everything they can to make you feel at home. The town itself is small and barely even a town, but there are great hikes and waterfalls close by. It is a great stopping point to relax after driving through the country. Everything is exceptionally clean which is the main thing I look for when booking a place. This is a hidden gem for sure and I’m so glad we found it!

We loved the Kungsvägen - Kings Road which you could walk a lovely 7km loop straight from the cabins.. beautiful and we loved Knut's enthusiasm and he was so welcoming and it was comfy and warm and cosy, great views from our cabin deck, easy to find, we'd definitely love to stay again and spend more time walking locally. And itwas short drive to the fantastic Borgund Stave Church. We charged our car there, which was super handy.

The location of the house! On the top of a little hill. You have creek in the and of the site.you can go hiking from the entrance door. If you prefere, you can jog. Everything in the small house a familly should need for a couple of days. A welcome letter the first day, with yummy hommade cinnamon rolls:) We simply loved it!
