Second time at this hotel and hopefully not the last. Love the historic atmosphere and views. Stayed in an alp suite which was beautifully decorated with lots of seating space and very quiet. Great hikes direct from hotel including to a fabulous waterfall.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
lovely large apartment with nice cooking facilities and bathroom.views were great.beds were comfortable.good area to park the car.Wifi only available in the main building reception area.but the reception area with open fire place and artworks and history was a great place to hangout.The staff were great in informing us about the local walks .
The breakfast buffet was great, and they allow you to pack stuff for lunch (nice for a lot of the visitors tackling the Besseggen trail!). I also appreciated the effort into vegetarian options for dinner - both times it was really good!! Room was basic but very spacious, no complaints there. When we arrived we were greeted by reindeer on the parking lot, which was entertaining.
