What a fantastic place to stay, we absolutely loved it, beautiful surroundings and a fabulous house and gardens, breakfast was delivered to us the next morning which was a basket of super fresh breads and pastries, the fridge was stocked with juice, cheese, fruit and even a couple of beers. The property was in a fantastic location, it was clean and the host Pieter was extremely helpful. No ask was too big and he went to considerable lengths to make our stay comfortable. Pieter even made reservations for us at a local restaurant and provided many recommendations of the local area.
To save money we did most of the cooking at the property, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we were given fresh eggs from the chickens outside. The local supermarket made it easy to eat in and find fresh ingredients.
The river Rhine outside the property made the hot days bearable and provided evening entertainment for a swim. There is plenty to do locally, for both city breaks and nature lovers. We were able to travel to 5 different cities from here and explore the Netherlands.
The property had Air con, bug nets and black out blinds for the windows, all things I couldn’t live without! Especially in summer.
We can’t wait for come back again and can’t thank Pieter enough. Highly recommend!

Very handy location by the train station. Great bedroom. However it might be a bit awkward to share a room with a friend as the shower isn't totally closed off the bedroom.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Lovely people who were super accommodating and nice, it's in a great location close to public transportation (bus) and with free parking included. I would definitely come back in the future for a stay and I sincerely recommend it to everyone else looking for a fun, cozy, relaxing, special and unique experience with the waterbed, balcony/terrace and jaccuzi.
This is an upper floor bedroom in a large private house that has been converted for overnight rental. The house backs on to a canal and the room has an outdoor area. There is off street parking. If you like being off the beaten track this type of accommodation is good. The water bed was unusual and surprisingly comfortable.
