I was travelling from a holiday with my family to a work conference the next day and needed a stay close to Amsterdam for one night. Fantastic rural location but only 10 minutes from airport and 35 minutes from Amsterdam Centre. The rooms are not just spacious, they are huge. Judith, the owner, is very friendly, multi-lingual, flexible and helpful. Considering the hotel prices in Amsterdam during big events, this is a viable solution, which we will consider. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

Very nice location, spotless kitchen, lots of breakfast options. Everything seems to be handpicked & cared for by the host and u can see some real efforts has been put in their services. First floor rooms might be better, the second floor rooms get too hot & one room doesnt even have window.

The property was in a fantastic location, it was clean and the host Pieter was extremely helpful. No ask was too big and he went to considerable lengths to make our stay comfortable. Pieter even made reservations for us at a local restaurant and provided many recommendations of the local area.
To save money we did most of the cooking at the property, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we were given fresh eggs from the chickens outside. The local supermarket made it easy to eat in and find fresh ingredients.
The river Rhine outside the property made the hot days bearable and provided evening entertainment for a swim. There is plenty to do locally, for both city breaks and nature lovers. We were able to travel to 5 different cities from here and explore the Netherlands.
The property had Air con, bug nets and black out blinds for the windows, all things I couldn’t live without! Especially in summer.
We can’t wait for come back again and can’t thank Pieter enough. Highly recommend!

We loved the bird park with the play ground behind the hotel.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The house is central and you can easily reach Amsterdam, as well as other touristic sites outside of Amsterdam.
The neighborhood is very nice and romantic with other houses built on water too, and their boats parked in front of them!
The main highway is not very far from the house. It could be a little bit noisy. In our case, the traffic noise was not a problem.
The house has a parking spot in front of it.
The landlord is very nice and very helpful in cases of emergency!
