This is a hidden gem , I was speechless at the attention to detail , everything and i mean everything had been thought of to ensure guests had an amazing experience . Consider yourself very lucky if you manage to secure one of their lovely rooms . Lastly but certainly not least the breakfast WOW delivered to your room the variety and quality was amazing . Property has everything you can think of to make for a very comfortable stay for our family of 6. We had a car and were well situated to get around for grocery shopping and sight seeing. Highly recommended this place if you are looking to stay in the area. Lots to explore in this region.

A small Dominican monastery converted to accommodation with the small church attached, open to the public during the day.
The room was compact as might be expected, and although rooms and corridor were hard floors with the potential to be noisy, guests were respectful and it was quiet in the evening and at night. Comfortable bed with basic shower/shampoo and hand-wash. Room had a coffee machine and a selection of herbal teas.
A more than adequate continental breakfast serving a platter of sliced meats and cheese, fruit yoghurt, several breads, butter and jams; tea and coffees of your choice. Very friendly and attentive.
A quiet and rural neighbourhood. Great for walking/cycling in the ancient forests. The owner was helpful in providing our motorcycles with parking just outside the church.
The carpark at Eetcafe-Riekelt is the starting point for the visit to the flint mine, which I would recommend. Our host was most helpful in getting us booked for the guided tour when the website failed us.
There are not many places to eat in the area; most close on Tuesdays; the Eetcafe-Riekelt provided very good local food; evident from the many clients who went there each day.
A lovely relaxed place, great for exploring the countryside around Rickholt.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The house was very well equipped and full of character. God value for money. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. The village is very pretty and there are great cycle routes from this property.
Very friendly host (gave us apple tart upon arrival as well :-)). Very nice and clean place with easy parking just outside, very well equipped kitchen. Location was great, just few mins from Maastricht center with good restaurants very close by to also pick up food (if someone does not want to cook or has small kids like us).
