The room had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. About a 10min walk from the hotel is a shopping mall with a supermarket and a lot of restaurants, although Cityden also has its own restaurant. About 3min away from the hotel is a direct tram line that takes you to the city center, it takes about 20-30min to get to the center, depending on the waiting time and how crowded it gets. It’s also close to the airport, and takes about 20-30min to get there, although you need to switch two transportation modes.

We stayed here mainly because of the good price and free parking. The room was clean and had all we needed. Breakfast was croissants and coffee. The location was good as you walk through the University campus to the tram line, you then catch the tram, change once onto the metro and you are in Amsterdam. 24 hour ticket costs 9 euros and covers the metro, buses, trams and boats.
Small rooms, car parking for an additional charge. It was the cheapest I could find near Amsterdam. The tram is a very short walk away, which means it takes 20min to get to Amsterdam, saving a 7km walk. It's quiet and clean.
