Especially our host, Moïse, very welcoming, with lots of good suggestions about what to see and do, and practical help - up to and including coming to collect us at 04:30 in the morning the day of our return flight, so that we could get to the airport before the barricades blocked the way ( it was a day of strikes and demonstrations throughout France, including in Martinique)
