The apartment is not exactly in the very centre of Smiltene, but the town is quite small, so everything is easily reachable by foot. The apartment is not on the ground floor (3rd or 4th floor I think), there is no elevator in the building - this might be a consideration for some guests. Overall - great stay!

Great friendly staff, well equipped and clean rooms, parking on site, historic building. Rooms were ...Soviet, I see this as a positive experience as I felt like I was touring 1980s USSR but see below dislike for context.
a nice House with an own parking lot and terrace to relaxe. a grocery is reachable 10 - 15 minutes by foot. excellent sound system installed in the house
