The hosts were amongst the most hospitable people I have ever met in my life. A sweet elderly couple tried its best to assist us. I went with my friends, it was a group of 5 person and the house is one-room but spacious enough. It is located in the outskirts of Ventspils, by a lake so you can go and relax there, away from the hustle of the city. The hosts were so kind to give us their fishing nets and boats, so it was really one-of-its kind experience.

I enjoyed my stay in Vinkalni and would like to come again:) I had a business trip, and after a long time on the way, the only thing I wanted was a calm and quiet place, which I found in Vinkalni. Nice breakfast, comfortable cabins, and all conveniences included. And it is not so far from the city, which is important to mention.
