The kitchen has everything you need to self cater including an oven, hob, large fridge, washing machine and a drinking water appliance. Mawella Beach has a good selection of restaurants and bars. We spent 7 wonderful days here, and it was hard to leave. The staff was lovely, professional, and always smiling. We felt somewhat at home. Our family room was huge with a view of the sea and the swimming pool: paradise. The food was delicious. The beach was magnificent and almost deserted. There was a calm, family atmosphere, which is exactly what we were looking for.

Can’t begin to describe how amazing this place was. From the staff, to the most amazing room we could have ever wished for, to the absolutely breathtaking (and empty) beach, to the beauty of the hotel itself. We are so grateful we were able to stay here for couple days! Thanks to the team for their amazing hospitality also! Definitely a highlight of our trip.

the location is unbelievably nice! right at a paradise beach! no people, just endless white sand. the owners don’t know a lot of English so communication was a little difficult sometimes but they are sooooo nice! the breakfast was the best in Sri Lanka so far. room is big and airy

We had a great stay at Isana Beach House. The house has an absolutely fantastic architecture where the Japanese design shines through. The building is situated in a lovely garden with coconut palms all the way down to the beach. Many lovely sunbeds in the garden. The beach is fantastic, clean and almost deserted with small fishing boats pulled up on the beach. The food is good, maybe add extra spices if that's what you want. Perhaps the best part of it all is the staff, who are friendly and very helpful. If they could get more than 10 they got it 😊 Thank you for a lovely stay at Isana Beach House.
